MAG260 is an ultramodern set-top box which offers opportunities for extended customization by the user. The major benefits of this model are the additional opportunities it provides the operators who are developing their applications with the help of Android SDK. It also makes it easy for the users to download and install the applications on their own.
MAG260 works on the 1 Ghz A20 Dual core Cortex A7 processor with 3800DMIPS of performance. Apart from its standard functions MAG260 supports video streaming via SAMBA and DLNA protocols. MAG260’s compact casing houses 2 USB ports and a MicroSD slot for external media storage and content playback. This device is also equipped with a WiFi-adapter.
The set-top box is compatible with standard and smart remote controls and HID devices. MAG260 set-top boxes support an easy system modernization: owing to the preinstalled Javascript API of the basic MAG250 model, they can be easily introduced into the already existing IPTV/OTT projects which are based on Middleware Stalker.
